Treasuring Jesus - John 7:40-53

The Jewish leaders are getting more and more frustrated that this "Jesus" person seems to be affecting everyone, including one of their own, Nicodemus.

The one thing I don't understand is why didn't Nicodemus do more than just say, "Does our law judge a man without first giving him a hearing and learning what he does?"  Why didn't Nicodemus actually stand up for him?

Sadly, that brings me to the real question, Why don't I actually stand up for Him?  Why is it so easy to get all upset about someone's actions in the Bible, when, in truth, I am guilty of the same thing?

Some hard questions. . .
